Everything in the kit seemed of high quality and fit well. The only issues I had were that the package that held all the gaskets was labeled that it was for a 400 cc Maico in one place, and for a 440 cc in another. Also the ring end gap measured 0.032" (standard size piston in standard bore) and I couldn't get an explanation for why it was so large. 0.008-0.020" is what Maico specified on their 440 cc ring end gap. I put the top end kit in anyway, and the bike started and ran fine. A mystery to me!
