I was impressed by the quality of the shims. I'd owned a series of the Yamaha XJ and XS series throughout the 80's and 90's and was quite familiar with the inner workings as I did all of the maintenance and repair myself. Fast forward 35 years, and I found a bike that brought back my youth. It's great to be able to buy parts for these ageless machines , ones that are of a better quality than the OEM .
